The feature film "Children Untold" has been selected as the opening film in the Competition section of the 51st Toronto International Film Festival. This marks the first time a Japanese film has achieved this distinction.
Acclaimed filmmaker and author Miwa Nishikawa adapts her forthcoming novel into a compassionate and clear-eyed postwar drama about a 12-year-old orphan who disguises herself as a boy.
