AOI Pro.’s director Mayuka Kawamura Wins Silver, Tomoya Matsushita named Shortlist at shots Awards Asia Pacific 2025 !

AOI Pro.’s young director Mayuka Kawamura has won Silver, and Tomoya Matsushita has been named Shortlist in the New Director of the Year category at the shots Awards Asia Pacific 2025!
The shots Awards Asia Pacific celebrate the most inspirational creative work from Asia Pacific, as well as showcasing some of the most successful companies and people in the industry.
The awards are an extension of the shots brand, alongside shots EMEA and the Americas, aiming to spotlight the best work from Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
“shots New Director of the Year” is an award given to outstanding new directors. This year, 7 directors were nominated.

About Mayuka Kawamura
After graduating from the Department of Design at Tokyo University of the Arts, she studied under Professor Michihiko Yanai at the university’s Design Research Department. While at university, she explored the collaboration between sound and visuals, primarily using hand-drawn animation, stop motion, and rotoscope techniques. She was a finalist in the JAC AWARD 2024 Director category. She was selected for Fabulous Five at the ADFEST 2025, and was named Shortlist at the Young Director Award 2025.

About Tomoya Matsushita
Tomoya Matsushita was born in Kanagawa Prefecture in 1998. After graduating from Meiji University, Faculty of Information and Communication, Department of Information and Communication, he joined AOI Pro. Inc., as a member of the Planning and Direction Department. He enjoys depicting the unreal within reality—in other words, the extraordinary within the ordinary. He was selected for Fabulous Five at the ADFEST 2025.
